Q. Do you make “mini” cupcakes? +
A.

Yes! Minis are available in boxes of dozens by custom order. Customers may choose up to two cake base flavors and customize their frosting.

Q. I have a family member who is diabetic. Do you offer a sugar free cupcake? +
A.

We strive to make a high quality and affordable product to appeal to all of our customers. At this time we do not have a recipe and affordable option for a sugar free cupcake. Please check back as we are constantly working on expanding our menu.

Q. ​Are those really for dogs? +
A.

Yes! Our Pupcakes are a tiny dog friendly treat we make fresh every morning along with our Signature cupcakes. They are made with carrot cake, pumpkin, soybean oil, peanut butter and buttercream. Our signature Pupcake is then topped with a real Milkbone training treat!

Q. I would like to place a special order for a special event I’m attending. How far in advance do I need to place the order? +
A.

We can have most prepaid cupcake orders ready for you as soon as the next day. Custom cakes are available next day when prepaid by 12:00 p.m. the day before. Orders placed after 12:00 p.m. for next day pickup will incur a $15.00 rush fee.

Q. Do you have a printed menu anywhere? +
A.

We have such a high volume of packaging waste with our pretty boxes that we try to keep our printing to a minimum. You can ask one of our team members for a copy of our monthly menu or print our menu from our website here. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Q. May I ask one of your employees to walk into your kitchen to view a product ingredient list? +
A.

As part of our Franchise licensing agreement as well as for the safety of our guests and employees, customers are not permitted in our kitchen area. If a customer wants to know whether a certain ingredient(s) is contained in one of our products, they can ask to speak to a manager immediately. This ensures that  they get the most qualified individual who can then provide our customer with undivided attention and ensure the customer’s safety when consuming our delicious products. In the event a manager is not available, we will kindly take the customer’s contact information and get back to them as soon as possible. Q. What is your policy on customers with allergies? +
A.

Smallcakes Danville is an open air facility and all products are prepared on shared equipment. While our staff is trained to operate with the utmost care and precautions to avoid cross- contamination of gluten, tree nuts, peanuts, and dairy; it is impossible for our facility to guarantee our products have not come in contact with an air particle/substance during the preparation or baking process. We prepare food that contains gluten, peanuts and tree nuts and hence not a certified Gluten Free or Nut Free Bakery. All patrons entering Smallcakes Danville assume the liability risk of cross contamination, illness and/or hospitalization due to any complications the customer endures by inhaling/touching or ingesting any allergen within a Smallcakes product(s) or retail space.
